This is the 2nd edition cook book of Cambodian classics and international favourites from the wonderful Haven, a training restaurant for disadvantaged young adults in Siem Reap. By teaching quality work skills and important life skills, they give these young people the knowledge and confidence they need to create a safe and independent future for themselves and generations to come.
Whether enjoying a meal at Haven or buying this book to cook their dishes at home, you directly support this training programme and therefore an important part of the development and future of their trainees. In return, they offer you this selection of Haven’s most loved recipes and their Head Chef’s favourite Cambodian dishes.
The 1st edition was released in 2016 and sold out in 2022. This 2nd edition includes six new recipes that are not in the 1st edition.
