In Chloe’s second painting, ‘Good Times, Bad Times’ she has fused three Siem Reap alleyways together; one from the past and two from the present. She says, “visually from a perspective, this alley is where people come together and enjoy their time laughter so I thought it would be a nice idea to have this setting as my muse”.

“My name is Chloe Scott. I am 16 years old. I was born in Siem Reap, Cambodia and have been creating art all my life. I come from a long line of artists and have always felt inspired by my family. I am self taught and through much practice I have improved over time. I enjoy trying to express myself through art. I have explored many different mediums, and have recently discovered a passion for oil painting. Growing up surrounded by some of the most iconic buildings in the world has given me a deep fascination with architecture in all its forms. The streets in my town are always a hive of activity and so to capture a quiet moment, like those in my paintings, is rare. I am in the process of creating this series of paintings with the goal of holding a small exhibition soon. I am hoping this will help pay my way towards art college in the future, and to support my family and loved ones. Many thanks for your support”.
